We are the original Cook Strait Ferry. We sail between the North and South Islands (Wellington and Picton) every day, carrying passengers and freight. Along with the breathtaking views, enjoy our locally sourced cuisine, cinemas, free kids activities and premium lounges.

Wellington
Our terminal is at Kaiwharawhara. From the motorway, turn off at the bottom of Ngauranga Gorge. If you are on foot, catch the bus from Platform 9 at Wellington Railway Station.
Waitohi Picton
You’ll find vehicle check-in on Lagoon Road, accessible via Kent Street. Foot passenger check in is via the terminal on Auckland Street, a short walk from Picton town centre.
